Education and communication are the foundation of what we do, and the result is beautiful work in a feel-good space.

Craft Salon MKE was created during the spring of 2020 during a time that many things were uncertain. After two years of living in Milwaukee one thing was clear to me. Being a salon owner was a part of my DNA that I could not deny and this period of solitude was the perfect time to create a new business in my chosen home of Shorewood, WI.
Though I have been a salon owner, stylist, platform artist, educator and mentor in this industry for almost three decades, I knew this business had to be different. I set out on a journey of personal growth and digging in to what I could do to push our industry forward, create a space where everyone felt valued and seen and where we created a positive and creative space for stylists and clients to enjoy the best of what a salon can do for a community. I continue to push myself to be better as a leader and a stylist, and plan to continue to grow and create the salon of the future, not the stereotypes of salons past.

Kinley loves all things color, and has a special focus on transformational work, lived-in dimensional color, vivids and blonding. She also excels in shorter haircuts and longer layered shapes. Her hourly pricing is $60.
Teagan is one of our new talent stylists who has an artful eye for color and vivids. They are skilled with barbered cuts, shags, mullets and bobs. Their hourly rate is $60.
Cara has been a salon owner and curl focused hairstylist for almost 30 years. She is skilled with all textures of curls and coils, and is well versed in both scissor and razor cutting with an intuitive approach to creating shapes. She also teaches her curl cutting approach to other stylists across the country and has been a curl educator and platform artist for the past 20 years. While color isn’t her focus, she is sought after for her highly blended and lived in blonde skills. Her hourly pricing is $140.

Vi has an artful eye and diverse skills. A talented colorist, lover of vivids and bold color work, she is also adept at cutting, barbering and creative shapes. Her hourly pricing is $80.
Kay is a curl focused stylist with strong skills in all textures of hair. She is also excellent at long layered shapes and is especially fond of all types of blonding methods whether it be foiling, balayage or color transformations. Her hourly pricing is $60.
